Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes guanylate-binding protein 3 (gene Gbp3) in mouse samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 70.8 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 73 kDa.
In mice, guanylate-binding protein 3 (Gbp3) is an interferon-induced GTPase of the guanylate-binding protein family. Like related mouse GBPs, it is recruited to vacuoles containing intracellular pathogens and contributes to their disruption and to inflammasome activation in host defense.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): mouse lung tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): ANA-1 cells.

Recombinant mouse Gbp4 fragment (Glu9–Gly277), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with mouse. UniProt places guanylate-binding protein 3 in the cytoplasm and Golgi apparatus membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (mouse): Brain, lung, heart, spleen, kidney, liver and intestine. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
