Product Overview
Clone AFHF-7 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes germinal center-associated signaling and motility protein (gene GCSAM) in human samples and is validated for IHC, ICC/IF and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 21.0 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 21 kDa.
GCSAM (also called GCET2 or HGAL) is a lymphocyte protein expressed mainly in germinal center B cells. It limits lymphocyte motility by enhancing RhoA signaling and also modulates B-cell receptor signaling through SYK. GCSAM is used as a marker of germinal center-derived B-cell lymphomas.
