Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes glutamate--cysteine ligase catalytic subunit (gene GCLC) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA.
GCLC is the catalytic subunit of glutamate–cysteine ligase, the enzyme that carries out the first and rate-limiting step of glutathione synthesis. Together with the modifier subunit GCLM, it joins glutamate and cysteine in an ATP-dependent reaction. GCLC is a classic NRF2 target gene and is studied in antioxidant defense and ferroptosis.
