Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects somatotropin (gene GH1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA.
Growth hormone (GH1, somatotropin) is a pituitary hormone that acts through the growth hormone receptor and JAK2–STAT5 signaling. It drives body growth largely by stimulating IGF-1 production in the liver and other tissues, and it also affects protein, fat and glucose metabolism. GH is studied across human, mouse and rat models of growth and metabolism.
