Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects growth hormone-releasing hormone receptor (gene GHRHR) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, flow cytometry and ELISA.
The growth hormone-releasing hormone receptor (GHRHR) is a G protein-coupled receptor on pituitary somatotroph cells. When GHRH binds, it raises cAMP through adenylyl cyclase, which promotes growth hormone gene expression, hormone release and somatotroph proliferation, so it is a key target in studies of pituitary growth control.
