Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes GTPase IMAP family member 1 (gene GIMAP1) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA.
GIMAP1 belongs to the GIMAP (GTPase of immunity-associated protein) family, which is expressed mainly in immune cells. Studies in mice indicate it is needed for the survival and normal numbers of mature T and B lymphocytes, so it is of interest in lymphocyte development and homeostasis.

Immunogen
Recombinant human GIMAP1 fragment (Met1–Glu238), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse ortholog: 70.5%.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places GTPase IMAP family member 1 in the endoplasmic reticulum membrane and Golgi apparatus membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Predominantly expressed in the spleen and to a lesser extent in the lymph nodes.
