Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects GTPase IMAP family member 4 (gene GIMAP4) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, flow cytometry and ELISA.
GIMAP4 is a member of the GIMAP family of immune-associated GTPases and binds GDP more tightly than GTP. It is expressed in lymphocytes and is thought to take part in regulating apoptosis during T cell development in the thymus.

Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).
Immunogen
Recombinant human GIMAP4 fragment (Arg53–Arg224), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse and rat orthologs: 66.7% and 65.7%, respectively.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places GTPase IMAP family member 4 in the cytoplasm. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Highly expressed in spleen and peripheral blood leukocytes that contain mostly T- and B-lymphocytes.
