Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets PDZ domain-containing protein GIPC1 in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, immunoprecipitation, flow cytometry and ELISA.
GIPC1 is an adaptor protein built around a single PDZ domain that binds the C-terminal tails of many membrane receptors. Working with the motor protein myosin VI, it helps traffic receptors through endosomes and is linked to G protein-coupled and growth factor receptor signaling.

Recombinant human GIPC1 fragment (His66–Tyr333), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse and rat orthologs: 98.5%.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places PDZ domain-containing protein GIPC1 in the cytoplasm and membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Widely expressed.
