Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes glycerol kinase 5 (gene GK5) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA.
Glycerol kinase 5 (GK5) is a glycerol kinase expressed mainly in the skin. It phosphorylates glycerol to glycerol 3-phosphate and helps regulate SREBP processing and lipid synthesis in skin, so it is studied in skin lipid metabolism.

The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places glycerol kinase 5 in the cytoplasm.
