Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets granzyme K (gene GZMK) in human samples and is validated for IHC. The predicted molecular weight is 28.9 kDa.
Granzyme K (GZMK) is a tryptase-like serine protease made mainly by CD8+ T cells and some NK cells. Unlike granzymes A and B, it is largely secreted and has been shown to trigger a complement cascade that supports pathogen clearance and inflammation. GZMK-expressing T cells are studied in aging, chronic inflammation and tissue immunity.

Validated Applications
| IHC (paraffin sections) | 2–5 µg/mL (Human) |
|---|
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): human spleen tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide from the middle region of human granzyme K/GZMK. Sequence identity with the mouse and rat orthologs: 71.4% and 73.9%, respectively.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt describes granzyme K as secreted and also located in the cell surface and cytoplasmic granule. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Specifically expressed by CD8(+) T-cells.
