Product Overview
Clone AEBE-7 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes G protein-coupled receptor kinase 3 (gene GRK3) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and ICC/IF. The predicted molecular weight is 79.7 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 80 kDa.
GRK3 (also called βARK2 or ADRBK2) is a G protein-coupled receptor kinase closely related to GRK2. It phosphorylates activated receptors, including adrenergic and complement anaphylatoxin receptors, so that β-arrestins can bind and switch off signaling. Researchers study GRK3 in receptor desensitization, olfactory and neuronal signaling, and immune cell responses.
