Product Overview
Clone 28G47 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes G protein-coupled receptor kinase 6 (gene GRK6) in human and mouse samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 66.0 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 66 kDa.
GRK6 is a G protein-coupled receptor kinase that phosphorylates activated receptors so that β-arrestins can bind and dampen signaling. It helps desensitize D2-like dopamine receptors in the striatum and the chemokine receptor CXCR4, which shapes cell migration toward CXCL12. GRK6 is studied in dopamine signaling, immune cell chemotaxis and receptor regulation.
