Product Overview
Clone AAHG-8 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes endoplasmin (gene HSP90B1) in human and mouse samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and ICC/IF. The predicted molecular weight is 92.5 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 94 kDa.
Endoplasmin (HSP90B1, also called GRP94 or gp96) is the HSP90-family chaperone of the endoplasmic reticulum. It folds a select group of secreted and membrane proteins, including Toll-like receptors, integrins and the Wnt coreceptor LRP6, and it is induced by ER stress, so it is studied in immunity and the unfolded protein response.
