Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets GTPase HRas in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for IHC and Western blot.
HRAS is one of the three classic Ras small GTPases. It cycles between an active GTP-bound and an inactive GDP-bound state and passes signals from growth factor receptors to the RAF-MEK-ERK and PI3K pathways that control proliferation and survival. Activating HRAS mutations occur in some tumors and cause Costello syndrome.

| Storage | As supplied: −20 °C for up to 12 months from receipt. After reconstitution: 4 °C for up to 1 month, or aliquot and keep at −20 °C for up to 6 months. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles. |
Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL (Mouse, Rat, Human) |
|---|---|
| IHC (paraffin sections) | 0.5–1 µg/mL (Mouse) |
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide from the C-terminal region of human GTPase HRAS. The peptide sequence is conserved in mouse and rat.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places GTPase HRas in the cell membrane, Golgi apparatus and Golgi apparatus membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Widely expressed.
