Product Overview
Clone 25G35 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes beta-glucuronidase (gene GUSB) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 74.7 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 75 kDa.
Beta-glucuronidase (GUSB) is a lysosomal enzyme that removes glucuronic acid residues from glycosaminoglycans such as dermatan sulfate, heparan sulfate and chondroitin sulfate. Inherited GUSB deficiency causes mucopolysaccharidosis type VII (Sly syndrome). GUSB is studied in lysosomal storage disorders and is also used as a reference gene in expression studies.

Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human GUSB.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places beta-glucuronidase in the lysosome. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
