Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects HAUS augmin-like complex subunit 3 (gene HAUS3) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 69.7 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 55 kDa.
HAUS3 is a subunit of the HAUS (augmin) complex, an eight-subunit assembly that recruits the γ-tubulin ring complex to existing spindle microtubules. This branching nucleation increases microtubule density within the mitotic spindle. HAUS3 is studied in spindle assembly, centrosome integrity and cytokinesis.

|---|---|
| Immunocytochemistry / Immunofluorescence | 5 µg/mL (Human) |
| Flow cytometry (fixed cells) | 1–3 µg/1×106 cells (Human) |
| ELISA | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HepG2 cells, human HeLa cells, human U251 cells, rat brain tissue, mouse brain tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): HeLa cells.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): HepG2 cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human HAUS3 fragment (Glu6–Asp579), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse ortholog: 77.9%.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places HAUS augmin-like complex subunit 3 in the cytoplasm. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
