The brand Picoband indicates this is a premium antibody that guarantees superior quality, high affinity, and strong signals with minimal background in Western blot applications. Only our best-performing antibodies are designated as Picoband, ensuring unmatched performance.
Scientific background: HAUS8 is 1 of 8 subunits of the 390-kD human augmin complex, or HAUS complex. The augmin complex was first identified in Drosophila, and its name comes from the Latin verb 'augmentare,' meaning 'to increase.' The augmin complex is a microtubule-binding complex involved in microtubule generation within the mitotic spindle and is vital to mitotic spindle assembly.
Cross reactivity: No cross-reactivity with other proteins
Protein: HAUS augmin-like complex subunit 8 | Gene: HAUS augmin like complex subunit 8 | Target: HAUS8
Host: Rabbit | Clonality/Clone: Polyclonal | Isotype: Rabbit IgG | Reactivity: Human | Immunogen: E.coli-derived human HAUS8 recombinant protein (Position: D86-A322). Human HAUS8 shares r54.1% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse HAUS8. | Concentration: Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml. | Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.
