Product Overview
Clone AEBC-21 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes ubiquitin C-terminal hydrolase 7 (gene USP7) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 128.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 128 kDa.
USP7 (HAUSP) is a deubiquitinating enzyme with many substrates, most famously MDM2 and p53. By stabilizing MDM2 it indirectly promotes p53 degradation, while it can also directly protect p53, placing USP7 at the center of the p53 regulatory circuit. It also regulates DNMT1, UHRF1, PTEN and FOXO proteins and is a studied target in cancer research.

Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human HAUSP / USP7 Hydrolase that deubiquitinates target proteins such as FOXO4, p53/TP53, MDM2, ERCC6, DNMT1, UHRF1, PTEN and DAXX (PubMed:11923872, PubMed:15053880, PubMed:16964248, PubMed:18716620, PubMed:25283148).
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places ubiquitin C-terminal hydrolase 7 in the nucleus, cytoplasm and chromosome. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed in neural progenitor cells (at protein level).
