Product Overview
Clone ACIE-13 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes motor neuron and pancreas homeobox protein 1 (gene MNX1) in human and mouse samples and is validated for Western blot and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 40.6 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 41 kDa.
MNX1 (also known as HB9 or HLXB9) is a homeodomain transcription factor. It helps establish motor neuron identity in the developing spinal cord and is involved in pancreas development and β-cell function, and it is widely used as a motor neuron marker. Mutations in MNX1 cause Currarino syndrome.

| Immunoprecipitation | 1:20 |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): Molt-4 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human HB9/HLXB9.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human and mouse. UniProt places motor neuron and pancreas homeobox protein 1 in the nucleus. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed in lymphoid and pancreatic tissues. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
