Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects hemoglobin subunit zeta (gene HBZ) in mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and ELISA.
Hemoglobin subunit zeta (HBZ) is an alpha-type globin chain made in the yolk sac during early embryonic life. It combines with epsilon or gamma chains to form embryonic hemoglobins before being replaced by alpha globin. HBZ is studied in globin gene switching and developmental hematopoiesis.
