Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes guanosine-3',5'-bis(diphosphate) 3'-pyrophosphohydrolase MESH1 (gene HDDC3) in human and mouse samples and is validated for Western blot and ELISA.
MESH1 (HDDC3) is the metazoan homolog of bacterial SpoT and hydrolyzes the alarmone (p)ppGpp, a signal of the bacterial stringent response. In human cells, MESH1 also has NADPH phosphatase activity and has been linked to ferroptosis. It is studied in stress responses and redox metabolism.
