Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets hepatoma-derived growth factor-related protein 2 (gene HDGFL2) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 74.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 140 kDa.
HDGF-like 2 (HDGFL2, HRP-2) is a PWWP-domain chromatin reader related to LEDGF. It cooperates with the BAF chromatin remodeling complex to open chromatin at muscle gene promoters during myogenesis, and it promotes homologous recombination repair of DNA double-strand breaks. HDGFL2 is studied in chromatin regulation and DNA repair.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human PC-3 cells, human SH-SY5Y cells, human HepG2 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): A549 cells.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): PC-3 cells.

Recombinant human HDGFL2 fragment (Glu472–Lys563), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places hepatoma-derived growth factor-related protein 2 in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Widely expressed. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
