Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets transcription factor 12 (gene TCF12) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA.
TCF12 (also called HEB) is a class I basic helix-loop-helix E-protein that binds E-box motifs, often as a heterodimer with tissue-specific bHLH factors. It contributes to lymphocyte, muscle and neuronal development, and TCF12 variants are a known cause of coronal craniosynostosis.

Recombinant human HEB/TCF12 fragment (Ser67–Gly300), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse and rat orthologs: 96.6%.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places transcription factor 12 in the nucleus. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed in several tissues and cell types including skeletal muscle, thymus, and a B-cell line.
