Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects 3-hydroxyisobutyrate dehydrogenase, mitochondrial (gene HIBADH) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA.
3-hydroxyisobutyrate dehydrogenase (HIBADH) is a mitochondrial enzyme in the breakdown of the branched-chain amino acid valine. It uses NAD+ to oxidize 3-hydroxyisobutyrate to methylmalonate semialdehyde, and it is studied in the context of amino acid catabolism and mitochondrial metabolism.
