Product Overview
Clone 23H05 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes DNA-dependent ATPase/E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase HLTF in human and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and ICC/IF. The predicted molecular weight is 113.9 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 120 kDa.
HLTF is a SWI/SNF-family DNA-dependent ATPase that also works as a RING E3 ubiquitin ligase. It polyubiquitinates PCNA to support error-free DNA damage tolerance and can remodel stalled replication forks, and it has additional roles in chromatin regulation. Its gene is often silenced by methylation in colorectal and other cancers.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human and rat. UniProt places DNA-dependent ATPase/E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase HLTF in the nucleus and chromosome. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed in brain, heart, kidney, liver, lung, pancreas, placenta and skeletal muscle. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
