Product Overview
Clone 19S03 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein Q (gene SYNCRIP) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and ICC/IF. The predicted molecular weight is 69.6 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 64–74 kDa.
hnRNP Q (SYNCRIP) is an RNA-binding protein of the heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein family. It takes part in pre-mRNA processing, mRNA stability and transport, including APOB mRNA editing and stabilization of MYC mRNA, and it is studied in neuronal RNA regulation and hematopoiesis.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HeLa cells, human Jurkat cells, human HepG2 cells, human MCF-7 cells, rat lung tissue, rat kidney tissue, mouse lung tissue, mouse kidney tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 1:1000 overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): human prostatic hyperplasia tissue, human colon cancer tissue, mouse brain tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein Q in the cytoplasm, microsome, endoplasmic reticulum and nucleus. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Ubiquitously expressed. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
