Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein H3 (gene HNRNPH3) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 36.9 kDa; the supplier reports observed bands at 35 kDa, 37 kDa.
hnRNP H3 (HNRNPH3) is a member of the hnRNP F/H subfamily of RNA-binding proteins. It takes part in pre-mRNA splicing, including the temporary splicing arrest seen early after heat shock, and its isoforms may differ in function.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human Jurkat cells, human PC-3 cells, human Raji cells, human K562 cells, human Caco-2 cells, human MCF-7 cells, human HL-60 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): human breast cancer tissue, human gastric cancer lymph node tissue, human liver cancer tissue, human ovarian serous adenocarcinoma tissue, human pancreatic cancer tissue, human placenta tissue, human rectal cancer tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): MCF-7 cells.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): K562 cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human HNRNPH3 fragment (Lys29–Asn268), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein H3 in the nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
