Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase synoviolin (gene SYVN1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry, immunoprecipitation and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 67.7 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 76 kDa.
Synoviolin (SYVN1, also called HRD1) is an ER membrane E3 ubiquitin ligase and a core component of ER-associated degradation (ERAD). It ubiquitinates misfolded ER proteins for proteasomal disposal and protects cells from ER stress, and it is studied in protein quality control, neurodegeneration, B cell development and rheumatoid synovial biology.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HeLa cells, human T-47D cells, human MOLT-4 cells, rat pancreas tissue, mouse pamcreas tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): PC-3 cells.
Samples with a confirmed result (IP): HepG2 cells.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): U251 cells.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase synoviolin in the endoplasmic reticulum membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Ubiquitously expressed, with highest levels in liver and kidney (at protein level). The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
