Product Overview
Clone IOG-8 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes heat shock protein 105 kDa (gene HSPH1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 96.9 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 108 kDa.
HSPH1 (Hsp105, also called Hsp110) is a stress-inducible chaperone of the Hsp110 family. It acts as a nucleotide exchange factor for Hsp70, helping Hsp70 release its client proteins, and it helps prevent aggregation of unfolded proteins during stress.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): HeLa cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 1:500 overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places heat shock protein 105 kDa in the cytoplasm. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Highly expressed in testis. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
