Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes centromere protein I (gene CENPI) in human samples.
CENP-I is a component of the constitutive centromere-associated network that assembles on CENP-A chromatin. It contributes to kinetochore formation and chromosome segregation, and it helps maintain CENP-A at centromeres across cell divisions.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places centromere protein I in the nucleus and chromosome.
