Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects centromere protein F (gene CENPF) in human samples. The predicted molecular weight is 357.5 kDa.
CENP-F (mitosin) is a large coiled-coil protein that associates with kinetochores during mitosis. It helps recruit dynein and its regulators to kinetochores and supports chromosome segregation, and outside mitosis it contributes to microtubule-dependent vesicle transport; it is also a marker of proliferating cells.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places centromere protein F in the cytoplasm, nucleus matrix and chromosome.
