Product Overview
Clone BOB-2 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes baculoviral IAP repeat-containing protein 3 (gene BIRC3) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 68.4 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 72 kDa.
cIAP2 (BIRC3) is an inhibitor of apoptosis (IAP) family E3 ubiquitin ligase closely related to cIAP1. It regulates TNF receptor signaling, NF-κB activation and inflammatory responses and restrains cell death. BIRC3 is part of the API2-MALT1 fusion found in MALT lymphoma.
