Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects intercellular adhesion molecule 2 (gene ICAM2) in human and mouse samples and is validated for ELISA, flow cytometry and Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 30.7 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 60 kDa.
ICAM-2 (CD102) is an immunoglobulin superfamily adhesion molecule expressed constitutively on vascular endothelium and some leukocytes. It binds the integrin LFA-1 and the dendritic cell receptor DC-SIGN (CD209), supporting leukocyte adhesion, lymphocyte recirculation and the migration of dendritic cell precursors from blood into tissues.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human Jurkat cells, human HEL cells, human K562 cells, mouse spleen tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): HEL cells.

Recombinant human ICAM2 fragment (Lys25–Gln223), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human and mouse. UniProt places intercellular adhesion molecule 2 in the cell membrane and cell projection. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Constitutively expressed on leukocytes and endothelium. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
