Product Overview
Clone 28I48 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes intercellular adhesion molecule 3 (gene ICAM3) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and ICC/IF. The predicted molecular weight is 59.5 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 100–160 kDa.
ICAM-3 (CD50) is an immunoglobulin superfamily adhesion molecule found mainly on resting leukocytes. It binds the integrins LFA-1 and αDβ2 and the dendritic cell receptor DC-SIGN, helping to make early contacts between dendritic cells and T cells, and it also contributes to the clearance of apoptotic neutrophils by macrophages.
