Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects gamma-interferon-inducible lysosomal thiol reductase (gene IFI30) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA.
IFI30 (also called GILT) is a lysosomal thiol reductase that is expressed constitutively in antigen-presenting cells and induced by interferon-γ. It reduces disulfide bonds in endocytosed proteins, helping them unfold for efficient processing and presentation on MHC class II and, in some cases, MHC class I molecules.

Immunogen
Recombinant human IFI30 fragment (Ser27–Lys250), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse and rat orthologs: 66.3% and 68.8%, respectively.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt describes gamma-interferon-inducible lysosomal thiol reductase as secreted and also located in the lysosome. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed constitutively in antigen-presenting cells.
