Boster Bio Anti-IFT88 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody catalog # M06814. Tested in WB application. This antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat.
Protein: T-cell surface glycoprotein CD3 zeta chain | Gene: Keratin, type I cytoskeletal 15 | Target: IFT88 | Function: Ubiquitin-like protein which can be covalently attached to target lysines as a monomer. Does not seem to be involved in protein degradation and may modulate protein subcellular localization, stability or activity. Upon oxidative stress, conjugates to various anti-oxidant enzymes, chaperones, and stress defense proteins. May also conjugate to NFKBIA, TFAP2A and FOS, negatively regulating their transcriptional activity, and to NR3C1, positively regulating its transcriptional activity. Covalent attachment to its substrates requires prior activation by the E1 complex SAE1-SAE2 and linkage to the E2 enzyme UBE2I. . | Research areas: Class I,Cytoskeleton,Cytoskeleton/ECM,Intermediate Filaments,Signal Transduction
Host: Rabbit | Clonality/Clone: Monoclonal / Clone: 29I92 | Isotype: IgG | Reactivity: Human,Mouse,Rat | Immunogen: A synthesized peptide derived from human IFT88 | Concentration: 0.5mg/ml | Purification: Affinity-chromatography
Applications: WB
Observed MW: 94 kDa | Calculated MW: 49212 MW
Cellular localization: Cytoplasm .
Tissue details: Expressed in a discontinuous manner in the basal cell layer of adult skin epidermis, but continuously in the basal layer of fetal skin epidermis and nail. Also expressed in the outer root sheath above the hair bulb in hair follicle (at protein level). Expressed homogeneously in all cell layers of the esophagus and exocervix, but detected in the basal cell layer only of oral mucosa, skin and in the basal plus the next two layers of the suprabasal epithelium of the palate. .
Status: Active
