IGF2BP2 (also called IMP2) is an RNA-binding protein that regulates the localization, stability and translation of target mRNAs, including IGF2 transcripts. It acts as a reader of N6-methyladenosine (m6A)-marked mRNAs, and it is studied in metabolism, type 2 diabetes genetics and cancer.

Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed in oocytes, granulosa cells of small and growing follicles, Leydig cells, spermatogonia and semen (at protein level).
