Product Overview
Clone AEFA-9 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes DNA-binding protein Ikaros (gene IKZF1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 57.5 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 50–70 kDa.
Ikaros (IKZF1) is a zinc finger transcription factor that is essential for the development of lymphocytes and other blood cells. It regulates target genes through chromatin-remodeling complexes such as NuRD, and deletions or mutations of IKZF1 are well known in B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
