Product Overview
Clone FDH-14 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes NF-kappa-B inhibitor beta (gene NFKBIB) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 37.8 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 48 kDa.
IκBβ (NFKBIB) is an inhibitor of NF-κB that traps NF-κB dimers in the cytoplasm. Compared with IκBα it is degraded more slowly after stimulation, and a newly made, unphosphorylated form can accompany NF-κB into the nucleus, which helps shape prolonged NF-κB responses.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human Jurkat cells, human HeLa cells, human MCF-7 cells, human A549 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 1:500 overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): human uterus tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.

Reactivity Notes
