Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes interleukin-17A (gene Il17a) in mouse and rat samples and is validated for IHC and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 16.9 kDa.
Interleukin-17A (IL-17A) is the founding member of the IL-17 cytokine family, produced mainly by Th17 cells, γδ T cells and innate lymphoid cells. Signaling through the IL17RA/IL17RC receptor and the adaptor ACT1 (TRAF3IP2), it induces chemokines, antimicrobial peptides and other inflammatory mediators, and it is a key target in psoriasis and autoimmune disease research.

Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): mouse spleen tissue, rat spleen tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).
