Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects interleukin-2 (gene IL2) in human and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA.
Interleukin-2 (IL-2) is a cytokine made mainly by activated CD4+ T cells. Acting through the IL-2 receptor and JAK1/JAK3–STAT5 signaling, it drives T-cell proliferation, boosts NK-cell killing and supports B-cell responses, while also sustaining regulatory T cells that keep immune tolerance in check. It is a standard marker of T-cell activation in immunology research.
