Product Overview
Clone 31I09 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes interleukin-22 (gene IL22) in human samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 20.0 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 14 kDa.
Interleukin-22 (IL-22) is an IL-10 family cytokine produced by immune cells such as Th17, Th22 and innate lymphoid cells, yet it acts mainly on epithelial and other non-immune cells. Through IL-22R1 and IL-10R2 it activates JAK1/TYK2 and STAT3, promoting epithelial survival, regeneration and barrier defense in gut, skin and lung.
