Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets immunoglobulin-like domain-containing receptor 1 (gene ILDR1) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 62.8 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 63 kDa.
ILDR1 (immunoglobulin-like domain-containing receptor 1, also called angulin-2) is a transmembrane protein at tricellular tight junctions, where it recruits tricellulin. It helps maintain epithelial barriers and is required for normal hearing, as mutations in ILDR1 cause hereditary hearing loss. It also has reported roles in intestinal hormone secretion.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human MCF-7 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): PC-3 cells.

The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places immunoglobulin-like domain-containing receptor 1 in the cell membrane, cell junction, cytoplasm and SUBCELLULAR LOCATION:. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Mainly expressed in prostate and to a lower extent in testis, pancreas, kidney, heart and liver.
