Product Overview

Clone 19I51 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes interleukin enhancer-binding factor 3 (gene ILF3) in human and mouse samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, immunoprecipitation and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 95.3 kDa; the supplier reports observed bands at 95, 110 kDa.

NF90/NF110 (encoded by ILF3) are double-stranded RNA-binding proteins that partner with NF45 (ILF2). They regulate RNA processing, mRNA stability and translation, including the biogenesis of circular RNAs, and during viral infection they move to the cytoplasm and help restrict viral replication. ILF3 is studied in RNA biology and innate antiviral defense.

Reactivity Notes

The supplier lists reactivity with human and mouse. UniProt places interleukin enhancer-binding factor 3 in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Ubiquitous. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.

Safety

Handling: the formulation contains sodium azide as a preservative. Wear gloves, avoid contact with skin and eyes, and dispose of waste according to local regulations. For research use only; not for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
Q.Which applications is this antibody validated for, and at what dilution?
A.Validated applications with suggested starting dilutions: Western blot 1:1000–1:5000; Immunohistochemistry 1:50–1:200; Immunocytochemistry / Immunofluorescence 1:50–1:200; Flow cytometry 1:50; Immunoprecipitation 1:50. Optimal dilutions should be determined by each laboratory.
Q.Which species does this antibody react with?
A.Validated reactivity: Human, Mouse. Other species are not listed by the supplier.
Q.What band size should be expected in Western blot?
A.Reported by the supplier: calculated molecular weight 95.3 kDa; observed bands at about 95 and 110 kDa. A difference from the calculated size is common and can reflect post-translational modification, processing or isoform differences.
Q.What immunogen was used to raise this antibody?
A.Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human ILF3.
Q.How should this antibody be stored?
A.Long term: −20 °C for up to 12 months. Frequent use: 4 °C for up to 1 month. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles.
