Product Overview
Clone FHE-9 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes scaffold protein ILK in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, immunoprecipitation and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 51.4 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 51 kDa.
Integrin-linked kinase (ILK) is a scaffold protein bound to the cytoplasmic tails of beta integrins at focal adhesions. With PINCH and parvin it forms the IPP complex that links integrins to the actin cytoskeleton, supporting cell adhesion, spreading and migration. ILK is studied in cell–matrix signaling, tissue development and cancer cell motility.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HeLa cells, human Caco-2 cells, human U2OS cells, human A549 cells, human HepG2 cells, human 293T cells, rat brain tissue, rat kidney tissue, rat spleen tissue, rat PC-12 cells, mouse spleen tissue, mouse heart tissue, Rabbit-IgG, mouse brain tissue, mouse kidney tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 1:1000 overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:1000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): human stomach tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): 293 cells.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human ILK.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places scaffold protein ILK in the cell junction, cell membrane and cell projection. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Highly expressed in heart followed by skeletal muscle, pancreas and kidney. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
