Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets insulinoma-associated protein 2 (gene INSM2) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and ELISA.
INSM2 (insulinoma-associated protein 2) is a zinc finger protein related to INSM1 and expressed in neuroendocrine tissues. It has been proposed to act as a growth suppressor, but its function has not been fully characterized.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places insulinoma-associated protein 2 in the cytoplasm and nucleus. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed in heart, liver, skeletal muscle, kidney and pancreas, and, to a lesser extent, in brain, lung and spleen.
