Product Overview
Clone ADOI-9 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes insulin receptor-related protein (gene INSRR) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC. The predicted molecular weight is 143.7 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 80 kDa.
The insulin receptor-related receptor (INSRR, also IRR) is a receptor tyrosine kinase related to the insulin and IGF-1 receptors. Rather than binding insulin, it acts as a sensor of alkaline extracellular pH, activating signaling through IRS1 and AKT, and it is expressed mainly in the kidney.

|---|---|
| Immunohistochemistry | 1:50–1:200 |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): HeLa cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human insulin Receptor R.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places insulin receptor-related protein in the membrane. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
