Product Overview
Clone 20I72 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes integrin alpha-9 (gene ITGA9) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC. The predicted molecular weight is 114.5 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 140 kDa.
Integrin alpha-9 (ITGA9) pairs with integrin beta-1 to bind ligands such as tenascin-C, VCAM-1 and osteopontin. It is needed for normal lymphatic valve development, and it contributes to cell adhesion, migration and neutrophil function.

|---|---|
| Immunohistochemistry | 1:50–1:200 |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): HepG2 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human integrin alpha 9.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places integrin alpha-9 in the membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed in vascular smooth muscle cells (at protein level). The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
