Product Overview
Clone AbI91 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes integrin alpha-E (gene ITGAE) in human samples and is validated for IHC. The predicted molecular weight is 130.2 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 130 kDa.
Integrin alpha-E (ITGAE, CD103) pairs with integrin beta-7 and binds E-cadherin on epithelial cells. It retains intraepithelial lymphocytes and tissue-resident memory T cells within epithelia, and CD103 is also a marker of a migratory dendritic cell subset in the gut and other tissues.

Validated Applications
| Immunohistochemistry | 1:50–1:200 |
|---|
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): human cervical cancer, human tonsil tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human integrin alpha E.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places integrin alpha-E in the membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed on a subclass of T-lymphocytes known as intra-epithelial lymphocytes which are located between mucosal epithelial cells.
