Product Overview
Clone CCE-9 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes integrin alpha-V (gene ITGAV) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 116.0 kDa; the supplier reports observed bands at 26, 125 kDa.
Integrin alpha-V (ITGAV, CD51) pairs with several beta subunits (β1, β3, β5, β6, β8) to form receptors that recognize the RGD motif in vitronectin, fibronectin, osteopontin and other matrix proteins. Alpha-V integrins also activate latent TGF-β, and they are studied in angiogenesis, fibrosis and tumor biology.
